Making Pizza
Making Home Pizza

Pizza dough
Mozzarella, parmesan, other cheeses
Pepperoni or other meats or seafoods
Red Peppers or sun dried tomatoes
Caramelized onions
Basil, spinach, arugula
1. Line dark pizza oven plates with parchment paper. Shape the pizza dough in a circle and place on oven plates.
2. Spread the sauce out on the dough using the back of a spoon, stopping approximately 1/4 inch from the dough’s edges. Do not use too much; two or three tablespoons is enough.
Toppings (do not overdress)
3. Add meats or seafood.
4. Add vegetables and/or herbs, caramelized onions, basil, cooked red pepper, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms etc.
6. Add cheese (blend of mozzarella and parmesan)
Cooking the pizza
7. Preheat oven to 525°F.
8. Slide both pizzas in the oven. Bake for 3 minutes, switch lower and upper and rotate. Bake for another 3 minutes. Remove parchment paper, switch lower and upper and rotate. Bake for 2 more minutes, switch, rotate and bake for another 2 minutes. Remove from oven and slide pizzas onto boards
9. Let the pizza rest for a few minutes on a cutting board before serving
