Asian Dipping Sauce

Serving Size: 3 small jars
Total Time: 15 Minutes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups water
2/3 cup seasoned rice
3 tbsp reduced sodium-soy sauce
2 tbsp grated gingerroot
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
4 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp minced garlic
1. In a small saucepan, whisk together all sauce ingredients. Heat over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
2. Pour into three 8 oz jars and store in refrigerator.
