Dave’s Pesto Sauce

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
2 cups of fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons water
1 large clove garlic, quartered
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1. Place basil, parmesan, oil, water, garlic, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Pulse a few times, then blend until fairly smooth.
We do not add (or like) anchovies or pine nuts
