1 cup butter/margarine
3/4 cup icing sugar — sifted
2 cups flour — sifted
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1. Cream butter/margarine thoroughly. Sift sugar and mix into margarine; beat till fluffy. Sift flour, cornstarch and salt. Add to mixture and mix well.
2. Pat 1 tablespoon of mixture to 1/4 inch thick. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 300F.
