Classic Marinara Sauce

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 – 28 oz San Marzano tomatoes, chopped
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped or 1 tbs dried
1tbs dired oregano
2 cups spinach
1. Heat oil in large skillet. Cook onions for 5 minutes. Lower heat add garlic and repp pepper flakes, cook till garlic starts to become fragrant.
2. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Add basil, oregano and spinach. Cook for another few minutes.
