Apple Pie

5 peeled apples — thinly sliced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 Pie Crust
1. In large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Stir together sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples and toss until coated.
Scrape into pie shell. Place top of pie shell on and press sides together.
2. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in bottom third of 425F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F; bake for 40 minutes or until golden, filling is bubbly and apples are soft when pierced with knife through vent. Let
cool on rack.
