Penne & Sausage In Tomato Sauce

1 pound Italian sausage — hot or mild
1 onion — chopped
1 clove garlic — minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper — or to taste
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups soy milk
19 ounces tomatoes — chopped
1/2 pound penne pasta
1. Cut sausage into 1-inch pieces.
2. In a large fry pan cook sausages over medium-high heat until browned on all sides. Add onion, garlic, Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper; cook until onion is tender.
3. Stir in cornstarch. Add milk, stir until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, Add tomatoes and penne; return to a boil, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
