Garlic Shrimp & Cherry Tomatoes

12 oz (340gm) spaghetti
3 tbsp (45 mL) olive oil
2 cups (500 mL) cherry tomatoes, halved
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 teaspon Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) hot pepper flakes
1 lb (454 g) thawed peeled deveined large shrimp
1/3 cup (75 mL) white wine
3 tbsp (45 mL) chopped fresh parsley

Adding both shrimp and scallops is certainly an option
1. Cook pasta.
2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook tomatoes, garlic, italian seasoning, salt and hot pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, until softened, 3 to 5 minutes. 
3. Stir in wine; cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. 
4. Stir in shrimp and cook over medium-high heat until shrimp are pink.
5. Serve over pasta, sprinkle with parsley.
