Orange Ginger Beef Stew

Vegetable oil
2 pounds stewing beef
2 onions, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 cups beef broth
2 cups orange juice
1 cup orange marmelade
2 cups turnip — diced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Italian seasoning
1. Heat oil in large casserole, season beef with salt and pepperor and sear until evenly browned, by batches if necessary. Remove meat from pot and set aside.
2. Add onions and ginger and cook for 5 minutes while stirring regularly. 3. Return the meat to the pot and add the beef broth, orange juice, marmelade, soy sauce and seasoning. Bring to a small boil them cover and simmer for 90 minutes.
Serve with Rice or Noodles
